Steel Craftsmanship at RI Ironworks
Our Story
Rooted in Legacy. Forged in Steel.
Our story begins not in a factory but in a small village in Italy, where a determined 14-year-old named Mike first picked up a set of tools and began shaping steel with his own hands and big dreams. Even then, he was not simply learning a trade; he was building a future in craftsmanship in steel. At 21 years old, Mike left everything behind and journeyed to America with nothing but grit, passion, and the pursuit of something greater. He spent two years working under others, learning the ins and outs of the American steel industry. Then in 1969, he took a bold step and opened the doors to his own shop. From that day forward, he's been leading with pride, mastering his craft, and earning a reputation for quality and legacy steelwork that speaks for itself.
Today, over 55 years later, that same fire still fuels our shop. We are a proud, multi-generational business built on uncompromising standards, expert craftsmanship, and a deep respect for the material we work with and the people we serve. From small custom steel solutions to large-scale structural steel projects, we approach every job with the same commitment to excellence. Because to us, it is. Our customers aren’t just clients; they’re partners in a shared mission to build things that last. When you work with us, you’re not just buying steel.
You’re joining a legacy—one built on family, honesty, hard work, and over half a century of excellence. This is more than just steel. This is our story. And now it’s yours too.
